Using Ice Melt Responsibly
If the driveway or walkway consists of several simple shapes, measure an irregular treatment area before entering its square footage; use only surface-compatible products and the product label rate.
Excess deicer can be tracked indoors and may affect concrete, metal, landscaping, waterways, and pets. Remove loose snow first, spread the product evenly, and avoid applying more than the product instructions recommend.
