How Much Mulch Do I Need?
If creating or topping up a raised bed, estimate raised-bed soil separately from mulch; a mulch layer is not the same material or fill depth as the bed soil.
Enter the length and width of the area in feet and the desired mulch depth in inches. RockUtility calculates the total volume in cubic feet and cubic yards.
If you are buying bagged mulch, enter the cubic-foot size printed on the bag. The calculator will determine how many whole bags you need.
