How the Estimate Works

If the backsplash will be tiled, estimate tiles for a separately measured backsplash; countertop surface area and countertop material cost do not determine tile purchasing quantities.

Countertop depth is converted from inches to feet and multiplied by counter length. Island and backsplash areas are then added before applying the waste allowance.
